Comedian Gabe Zucker joins the show to replace an ailing Joe. When Joe is subjected to criticism in his absence, he can't help but join the show briefly to defend himself. In order to co-host the show Gabe cancels on a well-known New York comedy club, but not doing the kind of work one would imagine. Rob relays an unbelievable after-hours brush with celebrity following a show in Dayton, Ohio. Rob and Gabe ponder the attraction and the taboo of comedy club servers. Gabe relays a story that Joe once told about him from his own perspective. When a top NBA player gets tricked into sending naked photos to another man, Rob is fascinated by the allure of the bait used. Rob runs a few sample questions by Robby as a test for his upcoming interview.

The music quiz from the previous episode was so well-received, Rob and Joe discuss how and when to do it again. Joe appears to get insufficient respect from other shows on the network. Rob and Joe express serious concerns about Robby's upcoming interview. Rob worries about attendance for his gig in Dayton due to the unfortunate scheduling. Rob pitches a far-fetched scheme to beat the high profile Billion $ Bracket Challenge. Rob's girlfriend is convinced mermaids are real. Joe is puzzled by the Malaysian Prime Minister's recent press conference and apparent new developments in geography. Rob criticizes the premise of a new theatrical release and questions Joe about some of his quirks. Rob gets blindsides with another scolding by his girlfriend.

Robby gets snubbed by a fan. Joe's "quirky coworker" joins the show to display his stunning lack of music knowledge in game show format. Rob and Joe compete to cast the worst lead duo for the next season of HBO's True Detective. Rob's new favorite reality show inspires another challenge.

Joe gets grief about his Facebook photo. Rob and Joe discover that the Drafts and Laughs promoters have committed them to more than just telling jokes. Beer Week talk leads to Rob pondering the logic of a television commercial. Rob's contribution to a crew team fundraiser is seemingly inconsequential. Joe is embarrassed when Rob tests his improvisational abilities with an example from a recent show. Potentially terrible baby names get debated. A theory is considered that women, by nature, resist TV and movies recommendations from their men. In typical fashion, Joe gives advice to comedy newcomers. Commenting on a man's shoes, Joe ironically puts his foot in his mouth. Rob's comedy gets some exposure on NPR, but in a vaguely insulting way. Rob and Joe pitch a guest idea for another MORE network show.

Michael Chamberlin joins the show to review the Oscars, discuss career, favorite gays and give Joe tips on living alone. Rob introduces a fun new game. Rob lists for his girlfriend the friends it would be okay to date if he were to fall into a coma. Joe has a great day at the horse track.

When TMOS celebrates its 1000th episode, the question is raised as to whether or not that landmark is possible for this show. Robby goes on a first date on Valentine's Day. Rob and Joe review the new version of Robocop and discuss what films should and should not be remade. Rob's feels tricked by an early Valentine from his girlfriend. Rob seems a little too captivated with the new host of The Tonight Show.

Rob is blindsided when his girlfriend drops the name of a sports celebrity she once dated. On a double date with Rob, Joe's companion for the evening reveals her own encounter with a professional athlete. Rob's usual pressures are compounded by Valentine's Day. Rob is not that impressed with one of the countries' top Olympic athletes.

Rob, Joe and a surprise challenger compete to see who is the best at voices. Rob auditions for well-known network summer talent show. Rob has an update on another much-discussed TV project. Rob and Joe both have fun at their respective weekend shows. Rob testifies to what a truly bad driver Joe is. Joe hopes that a rescheduled date will actually happen this time, but Rob has his doubts.

Joe's gotten bad about effectively promoting his shows. One listener gets very creative reviewing the show. Our 'entertainment correspondent' completely misunderstands a Facebook post from Joe. The Robinson brothers get into a contentious dialogue regarding a missed guest-booking opportunity. Joe opens for a well-know actor/comedian and is amazed by both the man's act and the audience response. Robby reveals details of his first date since the recent breakup and is subjected to the usual ridicule. Rob is fascinated by the story of a woman in the UK who gets dumped by the husband she saved with one of her kidneys. Rob and Joe lay the groundwork for another contest between the two of them. Rob offends one audience member while another actually offends him. Rob is happy to discover that he no longer holds the biggest-drunk-comic-in-the-area title.
