Rob watched a newcomer crash and burn on stage. Rob and Joe perform at a club together in Richmond and one of them literally steals the show. Later Rob fears his car has been stolen from the parking lot. Rob does two shows in Rockville that are completely opposite from each other in every way. Rob encounters an obnoxious hockey fan. Rob and Joe participate in a very special episode of NLO podcast. Rob wonders if Joe’s potential cohabitation with him and his girlfriend might cause problems.

The gift a musical instrument to Joe’s son for his birthday prompts an analogy to Robby’s singing ability. Joe is confused about the use of freight trains in the modern world. The great success of “The Last Laugh” debut is detailed. Joe meets his girlfriend’s parents when they attend the show. Joe’s wardrobe is under scrutiny, especially his footwear. Joe leaves an open mic show in disgust. Rob and Joe make a new friend at Chili’s. The final shoot for Rob’s TV pilot project is a huge success. Joe has an update on his latest radio gig.

The Girl Who Faked Cancer

Just prior to show time, Rob and Joe catch wind of a local scandal brewing. Given the outcome of The Masters, Rob once again urges Joe to face a painful reality. Rob inserts himself into the middle of a clash happening with some noisy comedy show patrons. Joe makes an announcement that sounds oddly familiar. Rob makes his own announcement about a side project, and things get weird when Joe questions why he was not asked to be involved. During the show, a bombshell is dropped publicly that will have an huge affect on Joe’s living arrangement.

Rob is unintentionally inspirational to the wheelchair-bound open mic’er. Joe’s girlfriend makes an observation about the way others perceive him. The relentless adversary baits Rob and Joe once again with the promise of a future video posting. Rob and Joe pay tribute to a retiring radio legend. Rob somewhat overestimated how much he would enjoy the recent musical theater production he attended with his girlfriend. Rob contemplates one of the inequities in male-female relationships. Joe observes, and then ridicules, every decision made by one of the comedy competition entrants.

The Lost Episode

The companion episode of Its Mickey from the live Prime event is still unavailable. Chris Restivo’s life continues to fascinate. Rob gets recognized twice while out with his girlfriend. Joe compliments Rob on a very specific comedic skill that he possesses. Joe is both impressed and perplexed after spending significant time with a well-known comedian. Rob reads some rather negative review of the show. Rob updates a story discussed at length on episode 182. Joe’s girlfriend has a unique business idea, but Rob sees several problems with it. Joe has another story about his endlessly-entertaining coworker. Rob interacts with an audience member who may or may not have a peculiar fetish. Rob buys tickets for perhaps the least masculine choice among musical theater performances. Once again Rob has to defend himself for a seemingly harmless comment on social media. Rob and Joe have issues with the Justin Bieber roast.

Rob and Joe do the show in front of a live audience for the first time, but it almost didn’t happen. Rob asks the audience to guess what Joe swallowed following his retelling of the vile mishap. Rob and Joe have very different approaches to a hypothetical question about food. Mickey Cucchiella and his co-host Robert Andrew join the show. Chris Restivo makes a much-anticipated announcement. Rob revisits a game that was a big hit on a previous episode. Each person on the show decides who to “F---, Marry and Kill” among the other three. Rob instigates some of the usual arguments with Mickey about aliens, bigfoot and evolution.

The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance

Rob and Joe fully explain the drama surrounding the originally-scheduled debut of their murder mystery. A listener has agreed to pick highlight clips for the next ‘best of’ show, but Joe is skeptical. Rob is thrown off guard when he discovers he’s on a show with a magician. Joe feels that the birth of a child may not truly the greatest moment of a person’s life. Rob is stunned to find an audience member is deeply touched by one his jokes. After many weeks of contentious debate Rob, Joe and Robby actually watch “Birdman” separately and give their reviews on the show.

The White Guy in The Green Room

Joe dissects a joke that was made at his expense. Rob worries about a belligerent man he overhears talking in the lobby before a comedy show. Joe encounters an odd married couple attending his show. The half-Indian tormentor crosses paths with Todd Moore. Rob gets in another social media scuffle when someone overreacts to his harmless joke. After their latest TMOS appearance, Rob and Joe draw comparisons to other broadcast studios they’ve seen. The death of a its co-creator prompts a discussion about the The Simpsons place among the great sitcoms and how Rob won’t watch the show. Rob creates a hypothetical game where everyone creates their perfect woman. Joe visits Rob’s home town.

Well-Watched

Rob and Joe don’t seem particularly worried for their safety in spite of a recent incident that took place at the same venue as their upcoming event. Rob resuscitates a two and a half year old argument over the loss of a potential show guest whose star is now on a rapid rise. A recent blog disparaging binge viewing prompts a lively and insightful television discussion. Rob and Joe are very encouraged by the recent dress rehearsal for The Last Laugh. When Joe performs at a mansion, Rob decides to crash the house party. Teaching comedy to a room full of doctors is a sweet gig that Rob couldn’t refuse. After Rob describes the motley crew that assembled for a recent open mic show, a conversation emerges about bonding over ones minority status and/or affliction.

Rob wants to know what Joe is doing for his girlfriend’s birthday aside from dedicating the show to her. Joe faces a common problem as the parent of teenage sons. A heated pre-show argument gets analyzed. Joe fights for a headlining spot at the expense of Rob. Robby gets quizzed about his new circle of friends. Rob and Joe announce an exciting new entertainment venture. Rob receives a surprising message from someone closely connected to a show guest featured on “Best of”. Rob discusses some weird things he’s seen audience members wear recently at comedy shows. Joe gets confrontational with a policeman, but backs down when the officer finds his weak spot. Gramps has some trouble with a television show. The Maryland Music Awards finally aired and although some people thought Joe was cut from the show, he wasn’t quite. One prediction made about the SNL 40^th special was on the money.
