Rob tries to convince Joe to start watching Game of Thrones. While attending Scott Apple’s engagement party, Joe learns some fascinating family history. Rob and Joe both find themselves attracted to Caitlyn Jenner in her Vanity Fair cover photo. Joe spends an entire day with the 98 Rock morning show crew. Joe shares a story he’s heard about someone from Robby’s past. Rob and Joe speculate about the possible content of a DVD project floated by wannabe-comic Chris Restivo. Chris later appears in the chat room and is goaded into revealing some recent misfortune. Rob is eagerly anticipating two potentially misguided movie remakes, while Robby reluctantly goes to see the number one draw at the box office this week. Following two exhausting back-to-back trips, Rob questions whether or not he can get motivated again to perform for our armed forces overseas.

Rob is surprised to discover that some of the cool things he
saw in Japan
are available right here in the U.S. Joe voices his objections regarding two
stories he heard recently about wait staff and tipping. Robby’s heartfelt ode
to Letterman on Facebook is both admired and mocked. After having Chinese food
right before the show, Rob comes to a conclusion about the fortune cookie. Rob
and Joe are critical of a comic in the news who couldn’t handle a heckler. Joe
gets overpaid for a gig and signs someone else’s name on the theater’s
autograph wall. Robby worries that some language his girlfriend frequently uses
in her native speech could be misheard by some as the most offensive word one
can say in English.

A friend of Rob’s girlfriend makes a critical error disposing of an old household item. Robby is taking the retirement of David Letterman very hard.

After two years of discussion and hundreds of emails, the “comedian” everyone loves to hate talks to Rob and Joe. Prince played for over two hours at the historic peace rally in Baltimore and Rob and Joe were there. Rob reveals that he’s been watching American Idol all season and that he has a man-crush on one of the judges. Another ill-advised remake coming to television prompts a discussion of some potentially better ideas based on 80’s movies. A carry-over conversation from last week examines which celebrities over 70 are still hot enough to boink.

Rob watched a newcomer crash and burn on stage. Rob and Joe perform at a club together in Richmond and one of them literally steals the show. Later Rob fears his car has been stolen from the parking lot. Rob does two shows in Rockville that are completely opposite from each other in every way. Rob encounters an obnoxious hockey fan. Rob and Joe participate in a very special episode of NLO podcast. Rob wonders if Joe’s potential cohabitation with him and his girlfriend might cause problems.

face a painful reality. Rob inserts himself into the middle of a clash
happening with some noisy comedy show patrons. Joe makes an announcement that sounds
oddly familiar. Rob makes his own announcement about a side project, and things
get weird when Joe questions why he was not asked to be involved. During the
show, a bombshell is dropped publicly that will have an huge affect on Joe’s
living arrangement.

Rob somewhat overestimated how much he would enjoy the recent musical theater production he attended with his girlfriend. Rob contemplates one of the inequities in male-female relationships. Joe observes, and then ridicules, every decision made by one of the comedy competition entrants.

Rob updates a story discussed at length on episode 182. Joe’s girlfriend has a
unique business idea, but Rob sees several problems with it. Joe has another
story about his endlessly-entertaining coworker. Rob interacts with an audience
member who may or may not have a peculiar fetish. Rob buys tickets for perhaps
the least masculine choice among musical theater performances. Once again Rob
has to defend himself for a seemingly harmless comment on social media. Rob and
Joe have issues with the Justin Bieber roast.
